At approximately 1703 hours units from Savage were dispatched for the house on fire in the 8600 block of Rose Lane. Engine 61 arrived to find a single family house with heavy fire showing from the garage and extension into the house. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation by the Howard County Fire Marshals Office.
