25 Years Later β€” We Remember. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

On September 11, 2001, we witnessed unimaginable loss, extraordinary courage and the true meaning of service and sacrifice. We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, military members and everyday citizens who ran toward danger when others were running away. We honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and we will never forget the lives forever changed that day.

Twenty five years later, that same spirit of service lives on.

Every day, first responders across our country, and right here in our own community, continue to answer the call. They leave their families, their homes and the safety of an ordinary day to be there for someone experiencing their worst.

To the volunteer and career members who continue to protect and serve our community today: thank you for carrying forward a legacy of courage, compassion and selfless service.

May we always remember those we lost.
May we always honor those who served.
And may we never take for granted those who continue to answer the call.
