At approximately 1745 hours units were alerted for the Hotel on fire at 8828 Washington Blvd. Units arrived on location to find a fire that started on the exterior of the building that had extended into the hotel. Units confined the fire to an exterior chase keeping it from causing major damage to the hotel.
