Esther Lain, an EMT/Paramedic at Savage Volunteer Fire company, is currently on a work assignment requiring her to travel to Bend Oregon to work as a medic. As the EMS healthcare industry experiences short staffing issues during the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, our Esther stepped up and signed up to help wherever there is a need. Previously, Esther traveled to New York City to work as an ambulance medic during the peak Covid-19 cases early in 2020. She is an amazing woman and a phenomenal medic. We at Savage Volunteer Fire Company-Station 6 are so very proud of Esther and wish her safe travels and look forward to her return.
